Architecture
ECMS is built using multiple Hyland tools to deliver a complete system: Content Repository, Process Workflows, Smart User Forms, Audit Logging, and Records Management.
Content Repository
ECMS comes with a structured content repository to place and store documents received, created, and collected during the change management process.
User Forms
Smart user forms assist the end user in completing their change review work by providing dynamic drop downs, required fields and displaying role specific data.
Process Intelligence
Utilizing a structure workflow, ECMS utilizes business rules to route the request down the appropriate paths and integration points to set up the folders in the content repository.
Audit & Records Management
The entire process is tracked and visible via an audit log downloaded from ECMS. Additionally, completed documents are set up with a file plan for automated destruction under records management.
